DIY GUIDE / GETTING READY
Before the
first stitch.
A clear plan makes it easier to buy what you need and avoid surprises once the fabric arrives.
Choose a pattern or construction plan
Identify every panel and closure before buying. A simple rectangular project is easier to estimate than a shaped cover, fitted cushion, or directional pattern.
Check your equipment and supplies
Confirm that the machine, needle, thread, and bobbin are suitable for the exact fabric and layers you plan to sew. Thread and bobbin compatibility should be confirmed, not assumed.
White and black thread and bobbins are available by inquiry. Tell us the specifications or machine details you already know; size, fit, quantity, and price will be confirmed.
Allow for a test piece in your plan
When your material arrives, use an appropriate offcut from your own project to check the stitch, seam, and handling before sewing a main panel. Do not rely on a screen preview to confirm fit or final color.
Review before ordering
Check the full-piece or whole-yard quantity, width, material application, shipping, and quote. All sales are final, with no returns or cancellations after an order is placed and payment received.
